Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking an MRI Tech II to perform advanced imaging in the MRI department, building on MRI Tech I responsibilities. The role emphasizes patient safety, implant screening, and adapting to new imaging techniques under supervision of Radiologist and MRI Supervisor.

Requirements include graduation from an approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT MRI certification or NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent, BLS, CE compliance, and typically two years of MRI

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI certification or NMTCB/MR credential required.
• Graduate from CAHEA/JRCT approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Two years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced MRI scans and support Tech I duties.
• Ensure patient safety and MRI safety protocols, including implant screening.
• Assist radiologists and MRI Supervisor in image acquisition and quality control.
