Job summary
US Department of Veterans Affairs’ Puget Sound VA Medical Center seeks an Advanced Clinical Orthotist-Prosthetist to lead the Mobile Prosthetic and Orthotic Care (MoPOC) program. You will independently manage a mobile lab, traveling to VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics to deliver clinical care, oversight, and accreditation compliance.

Qualifications
- US citizenship required; non-citizens may be appointed only when qualified citizens cannot be recruited.
- English language proficiency required for orthotists/prosthetists per 38 U.S.C. 7402(d).
- Education: Bachelor’s in orthotics and prosthetics from a CAAHEP-accredited program, or Bachelor’s + post-grad certificate from a CAAHEP-accredited program.
- Board certification by ABC or BOC current and CE-compliant; technician/pedorthist certifications do not meet this requirement.
- Grandfathering Provision may apply to current VA employees meeting criteria.
