  • Create and deliver machine demonstrations and technical sales materials.
  • Lead advanced machining training for customers and internal application engineers.
  • Troubleshoot complex application issues for customers.
  • Represent Methods at trade shows and technical forums.
  • Build strong customer relationships to support retention and growth.

Position Overview

The Application Engineer, Advanced Milling Specialist supports sales growth and customer success across North America by providing advanced CNC milling expertise, application support, customer training, and machine demonstrations. This role partners closely with Sales, Product Management, OEMs, and customers to deliver competitive machining solutions and successful installations.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Strong CAD/CAM skills; advanced knowledge of GD&T, inspection tools, and machining processes.
  • Advanced experience with Fanuc controls.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Travel
  • Approximately 50-75% North American travel, with occasional international travel as required. A valid driver’s license and passport is required, with no restrictions on entering Canada, Mexico or Japan.
