Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Natural Sciences or Equivalent.
• Six months experience in a laboratory setting or equivalent customer service.
• Associate's Degree with a minimum of 3 years Clinical or Anatomic Pathology Lab experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 Years Experience at LMC working in a clinical lab setting

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and/or representatives to obtain identification and insurance information with physician orders for registration.
• Instructs patients on proper preparation/collection of self-collected tests (stool, urine, semen).
• Performs venipuncture and capillary punctures for diverse-age patients.
• Manages specimens from receipt to testing, including labeling and storage.
• Maintains regulatory/safety compliance and quality standards in the lab.
