Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is hiring Medical Assistants at multiple levels to support patient care across its Houston-area locations. You will work under supervision and gain hands-on experience while advancing clinical skills in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

MA I–III responsibilities include assisting clinicians, ensuring patient safety, administering basic tasks, and serving as a resource for staff as you grow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• No experience required with Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant or 1+ year of directly related experience as a medical assistant with no Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Basic medical/nursing terminology.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive patient care functions under supervision.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort in accordance with legal and professional standards.
• Perform delegated tasks as directed by a physician or RN.

Education
