Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support care in a clinic setting. You will assist patients throughout visits, accompany them to exam rooms, and perform essential clinical tasks under provider direction.

Responsibilities include clerical duties, scheduling, imaging coordination, lab callbacks, and vital sign collection. You will also assist with EKGs, specimens, injections, and patient education while maintaining infection control and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of Medical Assistant experience required.
• HeartSaver CPR and NCCT AMT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during visits and accompany to exam rooms.
• Handle scheduling, imaging, lab calls, and prior authorizations.
• Record patient data including vital signs and histories.
• Perform EKGs, wound care, dressing changes, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and immunizations under supervision.
