Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Advanced Material Handler to support the Inbound department with Putaway while cross-training across Receiving and Returns. You will join an experienced team to maintain accurate inventory and keep materials moving efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying materials, operating forklifts and automated systems, and using SAP/JDE for inventory tasks. You will contribute to safety, accuracy, and timely material handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to lift/move warehouse materials safely.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

What You Will Do:

As an Advanced Material Handler, you will support our Inbound department, primarily in Putaway, while cross-training across Receiving and Returns. You will work with an experienced, collaborative team to maintain accurate inventory and keep materials moving efficiently throughout the warehouse.

• Receive, verify, and put away raw materials and finished goods.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers, WAVE equipment, and automated storage systems.
• Use SAP, JDE, and other inventory systems to receive, locate, move, and research materials.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and outstanding Putaway transactions.
• Prepare materials for shipment or production.
• Meet established productivity expectations, including Putaway line-per-hour goals.
• Proactively assist Receiving, Returns, and other areas as business needs change.
• Support the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Safely lift and move materials weighing approximately 30 pounds or more.

What You Need:

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two or more years if related warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle warehouse materials
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of daily responsibilities, and remain productive with limited supervision.

Preferred

• Experience with forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers, WAVE equipment, or similar material-handling equipment.
• Experience with SAP, JDE, or another warehouse or inventory management system.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing approximately 30 pounds or more.
• Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment as required for the role, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and WAVE equipment.
• Ability to perform the physical activities associated with receiving, putaway, inventory movement, and material handling throughout the workday.
