Apprenticeship Program

Our registered Apprenticeship program allows you to earn while you learn, combining on-the-job training with classroom instruction. We cover tuition costs for a related manufacturing program. Upon completing this 2-year / 4,000-hour program, you will receive an industry-recognized certificate from the Connecticut Department of Labor's Office of Apprenticeship Training.

Program Details

1. Learn to manufacture a TRUMPF product (laser/machine/automation).
2. Participate in classroom training at the TRUMPF Training Department to gain technical and product knowledge.
3. Complete courses provided by colleges and technical institutions to build foundational technical skills.
4. Undertake assignments in various departments to understand TRUMPF's internal processes.
5. Write reports after each training segment to document outcomes.
6. Engage in projects, Continuous Improvement, and SYNCHRO activities.
7. Travel to other TRUMPF facilities in the US or overseas for training.
8. Apply skills by producing TRUMPF products, including lasers, machines, and sub-assemblies.

Additional Requirements

Experience: Excellent learning abilities, good communication and listening skills, and the capacity to follow instructions and organize tasks effectively.

Education: High school diploma, higher education, or vocational school.
