Job summary

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College's Workforce Development Center in Evendale seeks an Assistant Business Manager to oversee Advanced Manufacturing programs, including open-enrollment and contracted courses, and to drive customized training sales.

You will collaborate with faculty and industry partners to deliver learning-centered instruction, manage instructors and course materials, ensure safety, and achieve program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; transcripts required.
• At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing as an electrical or mechanical maintenance technician, maintenance manager or field service engineer.
• At least 3 years industry or business experience teaching in the Advanced Manufacturing field.
• Knowledge and experience working with computers and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and deliver learning-centered instruction and prepare for classes.
• Monitor lab safety and update safety procedures regularly.
• Collaborate with businesses to customize training for facilities and needs.
• Manage adjunct instructors and provide clear course expectations and timelines.
• Monitor instructors to ensure course guidelines are followed and learning outcomes are achieved.
• Maintain student records, grades, and documentation on a timely basis.
