Job summary

CT State Community College seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Technology Coordinator to execute recruitment and student support for AMT programs. The role focuses on finding and guiding students into two‑semester certificate programs and ensuring completion with strong graduation outcomes.

This on‑site position at CT State Tunxis (Farmington) requires evening/weekend flexibility. The ideal candidate holds a related bachelor’s degree and shows experience in recruitment, advising, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriately related field.
• Relevant experience in recruitment and retention activities.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Recruit and support student recruitment and retention through AMT programs.
• Coordinate with AMT Director/Associate Director to fill cohorts and guide students.
• Provide ongoing advising and counseling to at‑risk students and assist in program evaluations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners for outreach and program development.
• Oversee student workers, manage enrollment processes, and ensure safety protocols.
