Job summary
Siemens Healthineers, a Varian Medical Systems company, is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for our Austin, TX site. This hands-on, technical role focuses on automated manufacturing equipment, vision systems, and troubleshooting.
You will design, modify, and improve automated systems, cobots, and production equipment, lead automation projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain to set technical direction.
Qualifications
- Hands-on engineer with electromechanical systems experience.
- Experience leading automation or capital equipment projects from requirements through production release.
- Experience with machine vision systems used for in-line inspection.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex automated, electrical, mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment.
- Design, modify, and improve automated systems, cobots, vision applications, fixtures, and production equipment.
- Lead automation projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain.
