Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to lead automation projects from concept through production handoff. You will develop robotics, machine vision, and digital manufacturing solutions to improve safety, productivity, and quality.

The role collaborates with CI, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, IT, and Quality to advance capabilities, select vendors, and drive ROI on innovative technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and engineering docs.
• Hands-on troubleshooting in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced manufacturing projects from concept to production handoff.
• Develop automation solutions including robotics, vision, sensors, and fixtures.
• Develop digital manufacturing solutions for real-time visibility and material flow.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and scale successful concepts into production.
• Manage supplier and vendor activities, and lead design reviews and FAT/SAT.
