Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly and Installation) to design, implement, and continuously improve advanced manufacturing solutions bridging engineering design to production.

You will translate complex requirements into build plans and digital work instructions, evaluate and insert advanced technology, lead 3D assembly/process analysis, and act as a change agent with cross-functional teams to shape the Production System of the future.

Qualifications

BS in Engineering or related field; US-equivalent acceptable.
Experience with design-to-manufacturing handoff, build plans, and work instructions.
Proficiency in 3D spatial analysis and 3D modeling software (NX/CATIA/Creo/SolidWorks).
5+ years in manufacturing engineering with assembly/process planning experience.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain build plans, step-by-step work instructions, and digital assets for manufacturing execution.
Perform 3D process planning, spatial analysis, and virtual/physical assembly simulations.
Integrate digital tools (AR/VR, digital mockups) into production workflows.
Apply Lean principles to remove waste in technology insertions.
Assess TRL/MRL and plan deployment to meet production readiness.
