Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Kansas is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Technician to perform skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of production equipment and mechanical systems with minimal supervision.

This role supports reliable equipment performance through preventative maintenance, independent troubleshooting, and timely repairs, working closely with Operations and Maintenance teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks with minimal supervision following established procedures, work instructions, and safety standards
• Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Monitor and verify equipment settings, gauge readings, HMIs, sensors, and system performance to maintain operational specifications
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using diagrams, sketches, manuals, and technical specifications
• Remove and replace defective components using proper tools and material handling equipment (e.g., hoists, cranes)
• Adjust functional components and control instruments using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, levels, straightedges)
• Perform equipment disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly according to OEM specifications
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment in assigned areas
