Job summary
Advanced Technology Services in Griffin, GA seeks a Field Technician to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, diagnose root causes, and improve factory uptime.
Role requires electrical, mechanical, and control systems knowledge; travel may be required; 5S and CI participation; and proficient use of hand tools and shop equipment. ATS offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) and tuition reimbursement.
Qualifications
- Understanding electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems.
- Ability to analyze problems and perform repairs.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
- Travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Identify and source parts, supplies and repair items as needed.
- Set up and operate machining operations and welding as required.
- Follow 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Support continuous improvement activities and cost savings.
- Update CMMS records and review history.
- Troubleshoot control systems to resolve software/hardware issues.
- Utilize predictive maintenance data to monitor equipment performance.
