Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a maintenance technician for our Texas food manufacturing facility. Starting pay is $28–$31.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and full-time hours Thursday through Saturday 6am–6:30pm, plus Wednesday 12pm–6:30pm.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; two-year degree preferred.
3+ years of related experience in maintenance.
Ability to work varied hours including overtime.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot conveyor systems and food production machinery.
Perform mechanical repairs (shaft keying, sprocket broaching, gear head replacement, welding, hose fabrication, belt maintenance).
Assist with equipment setup, teardown, welding, fabrication and installation of plant machinery.
Diagnose issues through observation and measurement, identify root causes.
Document maintenance activities in SAP and coordinate with production teams.
