Job summary

Proliant Dairy Ingredients is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment in our manufacturing plant. You will diagnose electrical systems up to 480V, perform preventive maintenance, and support automation and control systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude, and experience with electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills (required).
• Preferred: experience with 120V/240V/480V systems; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; associate degree in related field; PLC troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and production systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including 3-phase power.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and utilities.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot motors, drives, pumps, valves, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Support automation and control systems troubleshooting.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Assist with facility maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize production downtime.
• Follow all food safety, quality, and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
