Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, a distribution company of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep all facilities and equipment running efficiently in a Chester, NY facility. The role involves preventative and routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and guiding junior staff while ensuring compliance with safety codes and productivity standards.

You will work Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a $23.08–$30.00 hourly pay range.

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent.
Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Successful completion of assessment evaluation to demonstrate experience and proficiency in areas or tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

Ensure all equipment and facilities operate effectively to support all operations.
Enter work into the maintenance system and track repeat repairs.
Perform routine repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and assist other mechanics as needed.
Provide guidance and training to Maintenance Support Associates.
Suggest procedures or process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
Comply with Delhaize America safety, accuracy and productivity standards.
Work in safety-critical areas including electrical, refrigeration, and material handling.
