Job summary

ADUSA Distribution, LLC in Manchester, CT is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to perform maintenance tasks on facilities and equipment both inside and outside the facility. You will complete repairs and preventive maintenance, entering work in the CMMS and learning new skills as needed.

The role requires mechanical and electrical aptitude, good communication, and the ability to work in a range of environments while supplying your own tools. Growth through training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Successful completion of assessment evaluation to demonstrate experience and proficiency.
• Ability to work in multiple areas including Safety, Electrical, Refrigeration, Material Handling, Mechanical, Welding, Fire Systems, Domestic Water/Waste Water.
• Mechanics are required to supply their own tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all equipment and facilities operate effectively to support all operations; ensure equipment meets standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Enter work into the computer maintenance system to investigate and identify repeat repairs and prior work.
• Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems.
• Safely shut down systems and equipment while meeting all safety, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and assist other mechanics when performing work on systems and equipment.
• Provide guidance and training to Maintenance Support Associates.
