Job summary

Akelius Residential Property AB is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform advanced repairs and diagnostics across residential properties. You will handle carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety compliance tasks while communicating findings and coordinating with the property team.

Qualifications

Five to ten or more years of building maintenance or a related technical field.
OSHA certification required.
High school diploma or GED required; trade or technical school preferred.
Able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 75 pounds, and climb ladders as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to multiple properties.
Background check and pre-employment drug test required.

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing maintenance and complete reports for apartments, common areas and building systems.
Complete and close out assigned work orders within the specified time frame.
Update work orders as status changes and complete preventive maintenance.
Keep inventory of supplies and equipment; communicate needs to manager.
Report on-site incidents to the property manager and maintain professional conduct.
Provide excellent customer service and time management; perform other duties as needed.
