Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to set up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, automation, and robotics in a large facility in Houston. You will document all work in CMMS, generate logs, and mentor junior staff to develop strong equipment knowledge.

The role requires 5 years of experience in relevant maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience with conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment repair and maintenance.
• Associates degree or trade certification preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and ad-hoc repairs on conveyors, automation, robotics and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate to leadership; record issues in maintenance log.
• Document work in CMMS and maintain operating logs for facility systems.
• Mentor maintenance personnel and assist with team tasks.
• Oversee projects, space renovations, inventory management, and contractor oversight.
• Operate material handling equipment and write reports.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Associates Degree (Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC)

Apprenticeship program or trade certification

PLC logic systems understanding
