Job summary

Jim Click Mazda Eastside in Tucson, AZ is seeking a skilled Mainline Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues in a high‑volume shop. You will perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability repairs, documenting findings and using Mazda diagnostic tools in accordance with dealership procedures.

Mazda certification is preferred; candidates should have 2+ years of mainline experience, own tools, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years mainline technician experience
• Mazda certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a flat‑rate environment
• Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional, dependable, and team‑oriented attitude
• Must provide own tools and diagnostic equipment

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns
• Perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability repairs
• Complete recalls, warranty repairs, and manufacturer‑specific services
• Accurately document repair orders and diagnostic findings
• Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information Follow Mazda repair standards and dealership procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians
