Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to safely operate and monitor manufacturing machinery.
Read and understand work orders, job instructions, and production documentation.
Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and environmental regulations.
Identify quality issues, defects, and process concerns during production.
Basic problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot routine machine or production issues.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining production standards.
Strong teamwork and communication with leads and managers.

Responsibilities

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently according to procedures.
Perform machine start-up, setup, operation, troubleshooting, and shutdown procedures.
Read and interpret work orders, job instructions, and production specifications.
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and company goals are met.
Inspect products and identify defects, quality issues, or process concerns.
Apply knowledge of quality standards and corrective actions to maintain product quality.
Make adjustments to equipment or processes to support production needs.
Provide feedback on production and equipment concerns to team leads and managers.
Carry out routine inspections and basic testing procedures.
Safely handle, move, and position materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area compliant with regulations.
Work independently for short periods while maintaining standards.
Collaborate with teammates on continuous improvement initiatives.
