Job summary

Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Northeast Wisconsin Ambulatory Care Division in Green Bay, WI, seeks an Advanced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver specialized patient care with independence and clinical judgment. The role requires full, current LPN/LVN licensure, Graduate of an approved nursing program, and the ability to support complex care plans within a team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full-active-current and unrestricted licensure as an LPN/LVN in the United States.
• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency.
• Knowledge and skills to carry out more specialized patient care duties and to contribute to care plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Advanced LPN at point of care within the NEWAC Division in Green Bay.
• Demonstrate independent technical judgment in complex patient care assignments.
• Collaborate with RN/MD to prioritize and modify patient care plans as needed.
• Document care delivered and patient responses accurately; monitor for changes requiring intervention.
• Provide health promotion and prevention counseling to veterans and families.
