Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the State and NLNAC accreditation if applicable
• Full-active, unrestricted LPN/LVN licensure in US state/territory or DC
• GS-7 requires at least 1 year of qualifying experience at GS-6 level or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide complex patient care duties with supervision levels appropriate to assignment
• Assist RN/MD in prioritizing and modifying care plans
• Administer medications and treatments per policies, document responses
• Engage in health promotion and prevention activities with veterans and families
• Participate in developing and updating patient health plans
