RECONN Utility Services seeks an underground utility locator to work outdoors in Henderson, CO. You will locate public and private utilities, mark locations, and document each site while traveling up to 70% of the time.

The role requires comfort with field research, CAD/GIS data, and excellent attention to detail. Starting pay is $23.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on experience, with full-time hours and safety-focused training.

Text JOBS to 811DIG (811344) to connect with our hiring team today! The starting pay for this position starts at $23.00 - $33.00/hr., depending on experience. This position is based out of Henderson, Colorado. As leaders in the utility industry concentrating, on quality and safety, RECONN is looking for people to join our team who are problem solvers, take pride in public safety and are comfortable in a fast paced, exciting work environment.

Your Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the correct, safe and efficient locating of underground utilities both public and private.
• Taking time to thoroughly research and investigate all underground utilities in an area, properly marking the location, completing the necessary paperwork and documenting each location.
• Documentation can consist of electronic field sketching, GPS and Data Collection.

This is a full-time positions, overtime and travel will be required. 70% home, 30% travel. Ideal candidates will have advanced locating experience with all utilities, a demonstrated commitment to quality, and attention to detail. Experience reading CAD, GIS, and MicroStation files is a plus.

What We Need From You (Our Requirements)

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Previous outdoor experience is a plus
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed
• Able to stand and walk for long periods of time on varying types of terrain; bend and stoop; lift heavy items up to 75 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology
• Must be able to travel
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners. Customer service experience is a plus
• Able to pass a drug screen (this is a safety-sensitive position)
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required
