Job summary

Pafford EMS is seeking qualified Paramedics to provide Advanced Life Support to patients in emergency situations. You will assess and treat life-threatening conditions, coordinate with police and EMS teams, and transport patients to medical facilities while maintaining accurate documentation and equipment readiness.

Applicants must hold a Parametric License, CPR for Health Care Providers, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with strong knowledge of rescue equipment and local geography.

Qualifications

Paramedic license required.
CPR for Health Care Provider.
ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Knowledge of local streets, addresses and area layout; rescue equipment familiarity.
Ability to perform technical medical skills with accuracy.
Professional demeanor and ability to handle emotional medical needs of patients.

Responsibilities

Provide and direct Advanced Life Support to ill or injured patients.
Assess medical emergencies and apply differential diagnosis.
Manage and direct first responders at the scene (EMRs, police, EMTs).
Document patient information and care for hospital and billing purposes.
Operate emergency vehicles safely and transport patients to care facilities.
Maintain and inspect equipment and participate in continuing education.
