Job summary

East West Hospitality is seeking an Advanced Level Maintenance Engineer for The Charter at Beaver Creek, CO. You will maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life‑safety systems across guest areas, pools, and facilities in a premier mountain resort.

With 4+ years in building maintenance, you will troubleshoot complex issues, read technical manuals, and prioritize repairs. This onsite, full‑time role offers varied hours and a collaborative engineering team in Beaver Creek.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience maintaining commercial, hospitality, resort, or multifamily properties, or equivalent hands‑on experience in building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life‑safety systems, with the ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and determine effective solutions.
• Sound judgment and a proactive approach to prioritizing repairs, identifying maintenance needs, and improving building performance.
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate clearly with team members, contractors, and other departments, and maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, monitor, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life‑safety, and utility systems throughout the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs in guest accommodations, common areas, pools, fire systems, refrigeration equipment, audiovisual systems, and food service areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems, identify root causes, and determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners, and team members while supporting property improvement and asset preservation projects.
• Keep work areas organized, maintain accurate records in maintenance tracking systems, and communicate project and repair updates with department leaders, vendors, and the engineering team.

The Charter in Beaver Creek is looking for an Advanced Level Maintenance Engineerwho knows how to keep a property running smoothly and isn’t afraid to tackle a tough problem. From building systems and guest accommodations to pools, life-safety equipment, and other critical property assets, this role puts your technical skills to work every day in one of Colorado’s premier mountain communities.
