Job summary

HellermannTyton North America is seeking a Processing Technician 2 to support the injection molding departments' operational goals. Under the direction of the Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, you will start-up down machines, participate in tech meetings, perform housekeeping, monitor process parameters, and submit first pieces to the Quality Lab.

You will troubleshoot production issues, coordinate with Process Engineering, maintain Quality and EHS certifications, document procedures, and

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose processing issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 75 lbs for 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and making recommendations for processing issues.
• Starting up presses after changes (mold changes, conversions, material changes, etc.), rehangs, repairs, mold cleans, or other reasons
• Regrind and scrap management
• Enter all downtime and scrap codes accurately for future analysis using the Process Monitoring System (Mattec) as needed.
• Work with Industrial Engineering to ensure proper documentation is created and distributed regarding process sheets and deviations.
