Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Forest Oaks, NC is seeking a Level II Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment and facility systems, supporting site goals on a 3rd shift schedule. The role involves preventive maintenance, drives, motors, belts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, reading blueprints, and collaborating with engineering and Mold Shop on special projects.

Training on 1st shift for 8–12 weeks is required; forklift training and OSHA safety

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Trade School or associate degree in maintenance preferred.
3+ years in industrial maintenance and electromechanical, hydraulics or welding.
3+ years in continuous manufacturing environment.
Experience with PLC and ability to learn.
Ability to read blueprints and use hydraulic/pneumatic tools.
Forklift experience and Hubbell forklift training.
OSHA health and safety guidelines compliance.
Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet.

Responsibilities

Provide scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs of production equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections of drives, motors, and belts.
Repair machines using hand and power tools and precision instruments.
Service, repair, adjust, and test machines and equipment.
Diagnose problems and replace parts; test repairs.
Dismantle devices to access defective parts using hoists and tools.
Read manuals, work orders, diagrams, and blueprints for maintenance tasks.
Collaborate with engineering and Mold Shop on special projects.
Assist with mold setup when required.
Promote safety at all times.
Work with maintenance team on larger tasks and projects.
