Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an exceptional Radiology Veterinary Technician to perform ultrasound preparation, secure patient restraint, and place IV catheters, with duties including phlebotomy and cytology slide prep. The role covers digital radiography and anesthesia monitoring, plus advanced imaging such as CT and MRI.

You will mentor peers and address client questions with care. The position offers a competitive hourly pay; schedule runs Tue–Fri 8am–6pm, and benefits include health

Qualifications

• Experience with ultrasound preparation and patient handling.
• Ability to safely restrain patients for procedures.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draws.
• Experience preparing slides for cytology analysis.
• Competence in acquiring digital radiographs.
• Monitor patients during anesthesia or sedation.
• Comfort performing advanced imaging such as CT and MRI.
• Willingness to mentor and train colleagues.

Responsibilities

• You prepare patients for ultrasound.
• Your safely restrain patients for procedures.
• You place intravenous catheters in all peripheral veins.
• You perform phlebotomy.
• You prepare slides for cytology.
