The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for the Home Infusion Compounding team at the Southlake Campus. This full-time role focuses on order entry, sterile compounding, and preparation of medications and supplies for dispensing.

The technician will handle inventory, ADS machines, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with pharmacists to ensure safe, accurate medication delivery to patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience in a comparable setting, or 18 months at KU Health System.
• Active Pharmacy Technician registration per state requirements; maintain CE.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing including basic and advanced sterile compounds.
• Follows safety protocols and maintains accurate compounding records.
• Distributes medications and inventory, triaging shipping issues as needed.
• Maintains and audits ADS machines and inventory accuracy.
• Operates core pharmacy computer systems and resolves order discrepancies.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and proper documentation for recalls and invoices.
