Job summary

Tampa General Hospital (TGH) seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team. The APP will evaluate new patients, admit inpatients, and provide follow-up care, including ICU patients with circulatory support devices.

Strong collaboration with on-call physicians is essential to deliver high-quality transplant cardiology services. Candidates should be a PA or NP with Acute Care or Gerontology certification eligible, hold Florida APRN/PA

Responsibilities

• New patient evaluation and admission; follow-up care for inpatients including ICU patients with mechanical circulatory support devices.
• Care for ICU patients with LVAD, IABP, Impella, ECMO and other circulatory support devices.
