Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team. The APP will work closely with the on-call attending physician on a nightly basis, performing new patient evaluations and admissions.

Qualifications

• PA or NP with Acute Care or Gerontology certification eligible.
• Advanced Heart Failure, Transplant, or General Cardiology experience preferred.
• Current licensure in Florida as APRN or PA.

Responsibilities

• New patient evaluation/admission; ICU care for patients with LVAD, IABP, Impella, ECMO.
• Manage chronic inotrope infusions; pre/post-op heart transplant care.
• Work with on-call attending physician nightly.
