Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a full-time BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our nationally recognized heart and vascular team in Columbia, South Carolina. You’ll be part of a collaborative network of 26 cardiologists, 3 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 vascular surgeons, and 24 advanced practice providers delivering leading-edge care to patients across South Carolina’s Midlands region.

You will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient advanced heart failure care, including LVAD

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in cardiology.
• Specialization in advanced heart failure preferred.
• Willingness to practice in Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient advanced heart failure care, including management of LVADs.
• Participate in AHF specialty clinics (Amyloid, Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, Palliative Cardiology, Pulmonary Hypertension).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, surgeons, and APPs.
• Engage in clinical trials and adoption of new technologies.
