Job summary
Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join a dedicated heart failure program. This 100% subspecialized role focuses on LVAD management and GDMT within a robust APP team.
The position operates in a modern, single-location facility with comprehensive diagnostic imaging and Cerner PowerChart, Dragon Dictation, and CLEO AI Scribe tools to streamline documentation. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board eligible or board certified in cardiovascular disease.
- Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is required.
- Ability to perform Right Heart Catheterizations and manage LVAD therapies.
- Visa sponsorship (J-1 / H-1B) is not available for this role.
Responsibilities
- Focus exclusively on Advanced Heart Failure, LVAD management, and GDMT.
- Collaborate with a robust team of 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Perform Right Heart Catheterizations and LVAD related procedures.
- Provide care within a state-of-the-art, single-location hospital setting.
