Job summary

UW Health SwedishAmerican in Rockford, IL seeks a qualified Advanced Practice Nurse for Gastroenterology. Completion of a master’s level APRN program is required; Illinois APRN licensure with an approved specialty and a current RN license are also required.

DEA license or eligibility, Basic Life Support certification, and interest in GI are preferred. This role supports endoscopy and inpatient/outpatient GI services and offers growth opportunities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a master’s level APRN program is required.
• Current Illinois APRN license (ANP/AGACNP/AGPCNP) with national certification.
• Current RN license to practice in Illinois is required.
• Active DEA license or eligibility to apply before hire is required.
• Hospital only: BLS/CPR certification required.
• Experience in gastroenterology is preferred; new grads with GI interest encouraged.
