Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain within one year of employment with training provided.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Ability to work outside normal hours for on-call duties and emergencies.
• Aspire to start ASE Certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on City vehicles, equipment, and trailers.
• Diagnose and repair issues with a focus on safety and reliability.
• Perform general repairs and metal fabrication as needed.
• Provide road service and field repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in City software.
