Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Burlington, WA to service Ford and GMC trucks and keep the fleet in top condition for customers. You’ll join a team with a family atmosphere and learn through our Technician Training Program.

U-Haul provides tools and opportunities for advancement, plus a strong benefits package. Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, with full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Basic computer skills and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary pre-inspection checklist.
• Assist in additional areas as needed under supervision.
