Job summary

U-Haul is seeking preventive maintenance technicians to keep our latest fleet in top condition. Youll perform preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks, use our proprietary technology, and you can start today with a paid hands-on interview and a $100 hiring bonus.

We supply the tools you need and offer a Technician Training Program with Ford, GMC, and U-Haul training; a supportive team and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Drivers license required.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
