Job summary

U‑Haul is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician to service our Denver fleet at 7640 York St. You will perform preventive maintenance on Ford and GMC trucks, with tools provided and ongoing Technician Training through Ford, GMC, and U‑Haul. This role offers growth and a strong family atmosphere.

Responsibilities include oil changes, tire/brake maintenance, and using a proprietary pre-inspection checklist. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Regular attendance and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
