Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in fire alarm testing and inspection.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• NICET Level I preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and inspection of fire alarm systems and components to verify operation and code compliance.
• Document inspection results, deficiencies, and recommendations clearly.
• Communicate inspection findings with building owners, managers, and staff.
• Assist with minor repairs, device replacements, and system troubleshooting.
• Maintain tools, testing equipment, and company vehicle in clean and proper working order.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with NFPA, OSHA, and local codes.
• Participate in training to develop proficiency with a variety of manufacturer systems and codes.
• Support other team members and departments as needed.
