Job summary

Tarrant Regional Water District is seeking an Operations Maintenance Worker IV for Cedar Creek Reservoir System. The role involves vegetation management, painting, and upkeep of district fleets, reservoirs, pipelines, and floodways.

You will operate equipment including skid steers, tractors, and mowers, perform basic repairs, and occasionally supervise day laborers. Qualifications include a valid Texas driver’s license, a High School Diploma or GED, and experience with weed eaters/mowers; CDL

Qualifications

Requires valid Texas driver’s license.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience with weed eaters and standard mowers preferred.
Ability to operate tractors or grind/c weld or perform light fleet repairs.

Responsibilities

Perform vegetation maintenance, painting, and cleaning on pipelines, reservoirs/lakes, floodways, ROW or in facilities.
Operate equipment such as skid steer/uni-loader or an agricultural tractor.
Use weed eaters, zero turn mowers, and/or standard mowers.
Pull and back utility trailers to job sites; pick up trash along ROW/floodway.
May perform light welding, grinding, or basic equipment upkeep/repair.
May supervise day laborers; may work in confined spaces or on water bodies.
