Job summary

ATS is a maintenance-focused company seeking technicians to perform mid to expert level break-fix and preventive maintenance across factory environments. The role covers diagnosing problems, repairing and testing equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

A technical background and relevant certifications are required. The position involves potential travel, use of hand tools and metalworking equipment, and adherence to 5S and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Associates degree with a Technical focus and 3 years of related experience in general industry; or 5 years of related experience in general industry or successful completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program.
• EPA Universal Certification highly.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• May be required to travel.

Responsibilities

• Performs mid to expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance including diagnosing root causes, disassembling devices, replacing defective parts, testing and reconditioning machine tools.
• Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• May operate multiple machining operations and perform welding tasks.
