Job summary

Berlin City Kia in Portland, ME is seeking an Advanced Express Technician to perform routine maintenance and light repairs with a clear path toward a full-line technician role. Starting pay is $25.00-$27.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform oil changes, tire services, brake work, alignments, and diagnostic tasks, while working alongside experienced technicians to meet dealership standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive maintenance or express-service
• Knowledge of brakes, tires, alignments, batteries, and routine vehicle maintenance
• Desire to advance to full-line technician

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair orders per dealership standards
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services and other scheduled maintenance
• Inspect tires for wear and perform mounting, balancing, replacement
• Replace brake pads, rotors and related components
• Conduct wheel alignments and basic suspension checks
• Test and replace batteries; perform basic electrical checks
• Document findings and provide labor estimates
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs and performance
