Berlin City Auto Group in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Advanced Express Technician to join our service team. This role handles routine maintenance and more advanced services while developing toward a full‑line technician position.

Starting pay is $25.00-$27.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement. You will perform maintenance, light repairs, inspections, and entry‑level diagnostic work, coordinating with service advisors and seasoned technicians to meet dealership and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a favorable MV record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform shop duties.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance and repair orders per standards.
• Perform oil changes, tire services, fluid tasks, and maintenance.
• Inspect tires and perform mounting, balancing, and replacement as needed.
• Inspect brakes and replace pads, rotors and components.
• Perform wheel alignments and basic steering/suspension checks.
• Test and replace batteries and perform basic electrical checks.
• Replace filters, bulbs, belts, hoses, wipers, and minor parts.
• Conduct multipoint vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Provide labor estimates and communicate findings to advisors.
• Road-test vehicles when appropriate to verify repairs.
