Job summary

SABG is seeking an Advanced Strategic Planning Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on day-to-day mission planning, meetings preparation, and executive-level support for senior leaders, including coordination across agency elements and managing planning systems.

The Analyst will assist with process improvements, strategic planning, and preparation for events, requiring strong analytical skills, communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 6 years’ experience in administrative/business field; AA and 8 years’ experience in administrative/business field; or 15 years’ experience in administrative/business field.
• Possess 3+ years’ of direct experience supporting CEO level military equivalent (SES or General/Flag Officer).
• Demonstrated advanced capabilities executing day-to-day office operations and mission planning for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day mission planning and review documentation for meetings and forums.
• Provide analytical results, prepare briefings, develop reports, and identify best practices for strategic planning.
• Coordinate with internal and external MDA elements to ensure taskings are accurate, timely, and well understood.
• Plan, facilitate, and conduct leadership executive-level off-site activities.
• Assist Executives and Senior Leadership with day-to-day operations and planning for future activities.
• Assist with detailed planning of complex management projects and initiatives.
