Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is expanding its Otolaryngology program at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The PA will conduct comprehensive ENT evaluations, assist in subspecialty clinics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient-centered otolaryngology care.

The role requires NYS PA registration, NCCPA certification, and DEA certification. The position is based in Kings County Hospital with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current certification issued by the NCCPA.
• DEA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations in the ENT clinic, including detailed medical histories and focused physical examinations.
• Develop clinical assessments, initiate appropriate diagnostic workups, and coordinate referrals to ENT subspecialties such as Facial Plastics, Head & Neck Oncology, Neuro-Otology, and related services.
• Participate in outpatient ENT subspecialty clinics evaluating patients, formulating treatment plans, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests as appropriate.
• Review and manage outpatient referrals, respond to patient calls and electronic messages, process prescription refills, and follow up on diagnostic test results during dedicated administrative time.
• Participate in daily inpatient rounds with the ENT house-staff team, documenting patient progress, updating medical records, writing orders and progress notes, and communicating significant changes in patient condition to the supervising physician.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality, patient-centered otolaryngology care.
