Job summary

You will set up cautery, mix agents, and assist in emergencies across OR, ICU, and ER while maintaining equipment and documentation standards.

Requirements include an Associate degree or Medical Assistant Certificate with 3-5 years of related experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and a current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work with critically ill patients in emergency situations under high levels of stress.
• Maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the endoscopist during complex procedures.

• Provide endoscopic support for emergencies in OR, ICU, and ER.
• Label and send specimens to proper department/location as per policy.
