AMR is hiring Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) to respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for medical assistance and deliver high‑quality care, treatment and customer service to patients in the Wichita area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligible.
• CPR certification.
• NREMT certification preferred.
• State Driver’s License.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT).

Responsibilities

• EMTs assess patients, determine required care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills for care, including communications, equipment, and procedures.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
